Chronosphere

One particular plot device pisses me off to no end: time travel. Hiro Nakamura travels back in time to change the past, but instead of doing what he intends to do, he either does nothing or creates the past he already experienced. What a crock! If God gave me the power to time-travel, why can't I use them? So, let's ask him!

A scientist obsesses about the time/space continuum. Eventually, he cracks the code; through pure comprehension and willpower, he transcends time and space. He decides it is his purpose and responsibility to fix the world. But he's sloppy. Though he starts small, his mistakes throw the world into chaos... that's when God intervenes. He comes down and fixes everything. This scientist meets God, face to face.

This TV series is about the big questions: chance vs design, fate vs free will. The scientist rebels while God tries to guide. Other elements come into play, and sometimes the scientist has to use his power to do God's work. Several concepts are explored: the butterfly effect, grandfather paradox, etc.
